You can start the Heart Trail right outside any of the properties and it doesn’t matter which direction you go, adventure is ahead. As you wind around the property, look for the Blue Hearts painted on the trees to ensure you are headed on the right path. Don’t worry, the path is pretty clear and it’s hard to get lost. Look for a large 100′ cave on the south side of the trail and there are a series of caves and waterfalls on the east side of the trail. We have a number of Whitetail Deer who call the property home and if you’re really lucky, you might get a glimpse of one of the native Ohio Owls that have been spotted perching around. The trail contains a few fairly steep areas so please proceed at your own risk. Don’t hesitate to backtrack if something seems unsafe to you.
