Running the water and electricity to the Tree Houses was a design challenge at the beginning. However, it was a challenge that we were able to solve. So yes, each Tree House has running water, which allows each Tree House to have a flushable toilet, a shower and sink. Each Tree House also has their own AC/heater unit which the guests can adjust to their comfort. These Tree Houses are like cabins but are supported by the trees. Since the trees assist in holding up the Tree House, weight had to be considered when each one was designed. That is also why you can feel the Tree House move slightly in the wind.

We love cooking s’mores on our summer vacation. Do the Tree Houses have a fire pit?
We heard this request from a number of our guests, so we added a common fire pit area for the Tree Houses. Since each of the Tree Houses are supported and surrounded by trees, we were not able to put a fire pit by each Tree House. However, we found a clearing that is close to all the Tree Houses
Where do we park for the Tree Houses?
You can park right at each Tree House during your stay. To enter your Tree House, you will cross a cable bridge which has two steps at the entrance. The cable bridge will swing a little as you walk across, and we ask that you don’t jump or run while on the bridge. The Buckeye Barn Tree House has a short walk to its cable bridge.
